Substance enlisted our services to create the about.plings.net section of their plings.net site - and also the homepage of plings.net. The plings.net site is bespokely coded and does not run on Drupal, but after our creation of Drupal sites for Substance they asked us if we could somehow add the content management benefits of Drupal into that existing site.
We created a sub-domain which we then installed Drupal on and skinned it so that it was in line with their new design guidelines. This allowed a seamless partitioning of the site into the bespoke areas and the Drupal areas, so that the new areas could be content managed with ease without having to sacrifice or rebuild the old parts.
We then added in all kinds of new things into the mix - a number of dynamic display carousels, a featured plings section and an apps section where content can be easily added, tagged and promoted.
