The NHS Forest is an exciting new national project which intends to improve the health of staff, patients and communities through increasing access to green space on or near to NHS land.
The NHS Forest website provides information about the project, advice and guidance for prospective participants, and an interface for managing project members and applications.
Visitors can view information about the the scheme as a whole, individual projects, sign up for newsletters and more information and link to partner sites. Project locations are displayed on a map interface. Site members can complete applications forms for project sites which can then be reviewed for approval and publication. Newsletters can target individual groups.
Building the website in tandem with the changing needs of the organisation, the site has evolved over the past year, we've enjoyed developing something that should both provide a useful source of information for visitors and reduce administration time for the client.
