The Climate Connection is a partnership for public health action and learning on climate change. A collaboration between the UK Public Health Association and the Department of Health, The Climate Connection is a site where people who work in healthcare in the UK can share information about health and climate change.
Project Summary
A member driven site where members create a 'connection' between a health topic and a climate change topic which becomes a group area other members can join and link to relevant events, articles and resources. A forum then exists in each connection to facilitate discussion about that connection topic. A useful feature of joining a connection is that a member can receive automatic email notifications of any updates to that connection, keeping the member informed even if they don't visit the site on a regular basis.
We were pleased to have been able to contribute to this project - combining, as it does, the twin concerns of climate change and healthcare.
